PROFILE
A graduate of University of Lagos with first and second degrees in Educational Administration.
An enthusiastic and dedicated professional with extensive experience of over twenty years in School Administration and management. An optimist, she sets targets and pursues them, a resilient and result oriented individual who embraces changes and takes challenges as opportunity for advancement.
A certified teacher and member of TRCN (Teachers Registration Council).
ABOUT BMHS IKOLA
Baptist Model High School, Ikola, a mission, co-educational and fully boarding institution is one of the schools owned by Lagos State Baptist Conference now known as Lagos East, West and Central Baptist Conferences. The school was borne out of the need for expansion and growth of educational cum institution of the Conference. To the glory of God, under the leadership of Pastor (Dr.) S.O. Oke (The Conference Secretary) and Rev. (Dr.) E.A. Awotunde (The Conference Chairman) the school was established in October 1, 2006. The school is located in a very serene, education-friendly environment with a very large compound at 16-22 Glory Field Avenue, Peace Estate Ikola-Ilumo, Ipaja, Lagos State.
On a bright Sunday morning 1st October, 2006 the school welcomed a total of 35 students to her premises – 16 girls and 19 boys. Six teaching staff, the principal Mrs. F.E. Maduka inclusive, with nine non – teaching staff resumed the same day. Before the end of 1st term, the students’ population rose to 50. The first inaugural service organized by the Lagos State Baptist Conference took place on 8th October 2006. The PTA of the school was inaugurated on 10th Feb. 2007.
Our vision is to groom a crop of young people who are spiritually, morally and academically equipped to take the lead in all areas of life for the Lord. Our mission is to see these boys and girls trained for service to God and humanity having been empowered through qualitative all round education based on pure biblical principles.
At Baptist Model High School Ikola, the system of education is purely pragmatic in nature. Our strategic policy lies in the employment of “tested” Christian teachers to handle subjects being offered in the school to achieve academic excellence. Spiritual programmes such as revival services, breakthrough and deliverance services, Royal Ambassador, Girls Auxiliary activities, morning and night devotions in the hostels etc are in vogue to achieve moral and spiritual excellence.

Admission is available for pupils of age 10 at entry point. Admission is purely on merit and it is preceded by an entrance examination the result of which forms the basis for further consideration for placement.
Admission forms can be purchased at any of the following sales points: the school premises, the Directorate Office at No 7, Mureni Street, Isolo, Lagos and the secretariat of the three conferences.
Transfer admission is also available for students into JSS 2 and SS1.
